Wishing for these books... and so many more

10 books I'd like to find under the Christmas Tree

What it's Christmas eve??

And all the gifts are wrapped, sitting under the tree, calling out to be opened...

I thought this was torture only kids knew... nope, adults go through it too!

10 books I'd like to find under the Christmas Tree

Yay for my second week in a row for TTT!

So I am very grateful to That Artsy Reader as she has continued to host this fun challenge that allows us, book lovers, a place to share our favorites every week.

Books I hope to find under the Christmas tree

  1. Letters to the Lost - hardcover - I have the other three similar contemporaries - they aren't a series, but they go together... in hardcover, and want to complete the set... so you know the perfect Christmas wish
  2. Ninth House - I was sure I wasn't going to like this book at all... but then I got an early copy of the audiobook from the library, and was in love... plus my husband loved it too (another library borrow) and now I feel like we must have it on our shelves...
  3. Tthe City of Brass - another book I borrowed from the library this year, not really expecting to enjoy all that much, and then loved... so you know you the drill.
  4. The Kingdom of Copper - And while I'm at it, I should have the second book so I'm ready for when the final book is released... right?
  5. Throne of Glass  - I'd take any edition in a hardcover... I have the last four books in this saga, but I don't have the first few!

  6. The Bear and the Nightingale - I just started to want this book... and literally one of my booksta besties sent it to me after I made up this list! I love that bookstagram has brought friends like Heather into my life!
  7. Coral - this one is a complete splurge ask... I'm not sure I'll enjoy it... but I want more mermaid books in my life.
  8. Wildcard - hardcover - loved this duology - and I already have book one... the hardcovers have stunning bring colors so you know... I need this one...
  9. Learned Optimism - this is a book for my professional reading- it was suggested by one of my mentor teachers, and you know, Christmas gifts should span into some less comfortable genres, right? Maybe??
  10. Captain Rosalie - I came across this gem during some research this past semester, and I just have to have a copy in my library... it's such a precious example of the power of MG writing and Historical Fiction... it's a must-read for all ages

This list is mostly books I have already read, but I tried to borrow books instead of buying them this year... and now I have some books I want on my shelves, even though I have already read them!

                  6. I own Coral but haven't made time to read it yet, and though I don't have book two, I did read the Wildcard duo, and quite enjoyed it (much to my surprise). Hope these are now on your shelf - or at least, some of them are! :)
