Anyway, today's book feature is a throw back to those early days when I worked only with Christian publishers... I'm sharing True to You by Becky Wade, and it's a Christian Romance...

What Are You Reading Wednesday - the nitty-gritty
Share the book/s you are reading with their author, maybe even the cover... and then answer these questions for at least one of them.

True to You by Becky Wade
After a devastating heartbreak three years ago, genealogist and historical village owner Nora Bradford decided that burying her nose in her work and her books is far safer than romance in the here and now.

Why did you decide to pick up this book - cover or content?
A friend on bookstagram featured Becky's newest book in this series, so I thought it sounded like a good summer read... so content... but then the cover is super cute...
Who is your favorite character so far, and why?
Nora and John are interesting enough, but Nora's sisters are more interesting to me so far. I'm excited that Willow gets a book I hear... her personality is so fun.
Will you finish this one?
I think so... I mean it's an easy read... but I'm remembering why I haven't picked up a Christian Fiction in a long time... I hope it isn't too preachy, as it has walked right up to the border of my tolerance a couple times and I'm only 100 pages in... so maybe I'll finish...

It's very similar to the other popular Christian fiction books that are popular - think Jen Turano, Karen Witemeyer, and Tracie Peterson... but it's set in a current time, which is nice...
What type of read is this one? (slow but interesting, cannot put it down,...)
Slow, but interesting... very family focused, not a lot of action. A ton of dialogue, so you can totally read quickly if you want...

Let's talk those genres that you read a bunch of and then life took you down a different path and you haven't picked up as much... for me it's totally Christian Fiction... I just need more action in my life than what the typical CF book gives...
