And I want to share what I found with you all.
I was given the chance to read Tricia Goyer's new book A Christmas Gift for Rose, and it was very good. If you like to have a Christmas themed book to read each year, I would suggest this one. It was a quick read, but extremely well put together.

So we get the chance to follow Rose as she struggles to find where she belongs in the world. It's a beautiful story that wraps in the love of family, and how family isn't always what we imagine it to be. The idea of family can grow as your love for others grow, and that is exactly what this book brings to light.
The concept that we are to spend the holidays with those we love kept popping into my head as I read this one. And that of course begs the question of who do you spend your holidays with? Maybe more importantly, why do you spend those precious times with them?
If you have read any of Goyer's book you will know what you are in for. If this will be your first one, Goyer writes in an easy to follow style that allows you to truly connect with the characters. You are able to see their lives and where they spend their time. She allows us to ponder life issues and questions through someone else's life, which makes it more comfortable to deal with some of life's more difficult issues. And this book is no different.
