Lonely, you can look like so many people at any given time. Your characteristics are many, your disguise impeccable.

You lurk in almost every building, around ever corner.

And yet, today, I do not know you well at all.

I have battled with you in the past - a different stages of life- like every person has done. There were times when I even considered you a friend.

But today you have journeyed to a different section of my world, no where near where I stand. And to be honest, I am more than happy for you to stay there.

You see, I have found a place where I feel secure, even if it is hard and challenging most days, most hours...

Lonely, there is simply no room in my life for you any more.
