For me personally, the best part of blogging, is meeting other people out there that share interests. You get to "meet" people you would never really ever even know existed and you have the chance to see the world through their eyes, which is always enlightening.
So with that in mind, a new blogging friend of mine has graciously decided to share her thoughts on a book she is reading. The following book review/discussion is from Jacquie from Blessings in Homemaking. I hope you enjoy hearing from her.

I
am just finishing up this book and I will give it five stars! The book
discusses twelve prominent women in the Bible and their lives. The
author did such an amazing job analyzing each woman and pointing out
the great faith each one had!
My favorite by far was the story of Eve.
Your heart will be warmed by this one! I even had to read the story of
Eve to my husband! I can't even begin to imagine how beautiful Eve was.
She was physically perfect, being the first woman molded from God's very
own hands and she was the first to be pure of heart. Can you imagine
not only beautiful but genuinely sweet and innocent?! Even though that
purity was short lived I still have to wonder what the first humans were
like! I really love how the author interprets Adam's love for Eve. It
is great coming from a man's perspective. What a love story!
You will
also find a lot of encouragement as a mother, wife and woman living in a
fallen world. This book has my recommendation!

Sounds like a good book. I will look for it. Thanks for the guest post. I am now following Jacquie's blog as well. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this book! I was actually at the book store looking for "12 Ordinary Men" by the same author, and happened to find a double book, with "12 Ordinary Men" and "12 Extraordinary Women" together for the same price! It was an awesome find, and my husband and I have both enjoyed reading it.
