Snowy Reads & New Goals
There is something about winter weather in the Midwest USA...
It tends to be a longer season than most of us want, and yet so many people claim they look forward to it every year.
For me...
Well, I tolerate it.
The one plus is that less of society criticizes us introverted bibliophiles who would rather spend our evenings at home with a good book during the cold winter months.
So with winter setting in, and life returning to a focus on time spent at home, I am hoping to rejoin the book blogging world, and spruce up this tiny little space a bit.
And my first plan is to pick back up with Top Ten Tuesdays, at least a few times a month.

So I am very grateful to That Artsy Reader as she has continued to host this fun challenge that allows us, book lovers, a place to share our favorites every week.
Winter TBR
- Thunderhead - Book two of Arc of a Scythe - by Neal Shusterman
- The Toll - Book three of Arc of a Scythe - by Neal Shusterman
- Queen of Nothing - Book three of The Folk of the Air - by Holly Black
- Crooked Kingdom - Book two of Six of Crows - by Leigh Bardugo
- Shadow of Night - Book two of All Souls Trilogy - by Deborah Harkness
- The Book of Life - Book three of All Souls Trilogy - by Deborah Harkness
- Supernova - Book three of Renegades - by Marissa Meyer
- The Fountains of Silence - by Ruta Sepetys
- Snow in Love - a collection of short stories
- The Starless Sea - by Erin Morgenstern
Granted I have learned over the last couple of years that while I love setting up a TBR for a month or a season when it comes to actually pick up my next read, I am a complete and total mood reader. So who knows if this TBR will be completed by the time Spring of 2020 finds its way to us.
I am going to try to keep an update of this TBR in my Story Highlights on Instagram if you want to see how well I stay on course. I will also have a template if you want to keep track on Instagram.

Queen of Nothing is on a number of lists. I enjoyed Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom. I came across them on TTT. http://pmprescott.blogspot.com/2019/12/ttt-winter-tbr-list.html

AWWW! "Snow in Love" is really cute (read it last year... I think), and someday I REALLY want to try Leigh Bardugo's 'Crow' duo. Not a fan of the genre in general, but these do intrigue. :)
ReplyDeleteI love comments!!
