As the first YA contemporary Christian fiction I've picked up in a couple of years, I'm a little unsure about this whole story.  It is very Christian, and I worry the story will be too singularly focused on a specific Religious point that all character development and plot advancement will suffer - I don't want to read a thinly veiled lesson on morals, and I really didn't want to read them when I was a teenager. But we will see how it goes. 

• Pick up whatever book you are reading (non-fiction, fiction, children's... really the sky is the limit)
