10 Pretty Books Worthy of Your Bookshelf
There are so many amazing books out there... It is hard to really buy them all... and with so many great libraries around it's easy to just borrow books, read them once, and then return them. But there are times when books contain stories that touch us and we want to keep them around. Or there are books with covers that are so gorgeous that we want them around to help make our bookshelves look great.
I have collected a ton of books over the years, and I go through spurts on owning them versus only borrowing them. But there are few books that I think are so pretty, and I want them, yet I don't own them yet...
10 Books Worth Owning and Showing Off
1-8. Anne of Green Gables series - hardcover 2014 edition... so I have this set... but not these covers, and this is what I would love to have! It's hard to find them all... maybe one day...
9-10. Flawed & Perfect - the UK edition is another example of a cover buy... and why I love book depository! One day these will grace my shelves
Bonus 1. Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone: Hufflepuff edition - I mean it's just such a pretty shade of yellow, and how many books are yellow... and I'm a Hufflepuff
Bonus 2. Barnes & Noble Leatherbound classics... alright so these are just pretty... I don't even care which book but the fairy tales one looks amazing... I already Alice & Wonderland, and King Arthur, and Sherlock Holmes... and they are so colorful and interesting... the end pages are nice, there are amazing illustrations throughout and honestly they are worth having...
Alright so this was a cheater top 10 post, but you know it happens sometimes...

What a great list!! I have the Little Princess book, but had no idea they did House editions of Harry Potter. I LOVE that!! I am also a Hufflepuff, so it looks like I may have to grab a copy for my shelfs (even though I already have multiple HP copies lol)!
ReplyDeleteYes, the house editions were in celebration of the 20th anniversary, and they are gorgeous - there are hardcover and paperback...
DeleteI really love the Hufflepuff Harry Potter edition! I'm not a Hufflepuff, but I really like bright yellow. It's eye catching!
